Headphones icon is a bug, need to be fixed.

touchscreen too sensitive, probably need a  new touchscreen firmware from Acer, some users reported double touch on single touch input, but yours seems a different issue; i would contact your seller or Acer support service about this issue.

Do you think this is really firmware problem, isn't it hardware? The problems about double touch, etc, is the same as I have, it is very sensitive and detects without touching.

What surprises me is that I already bought more than 10 acer smartphones, for me and family, and this is the first with this kind of problem, How come can this pass the quality tests...

it can be both hardware and software related.

my E700 has not this issue, so i think that is more an hardware issue but i saw, in the past, some bad touchscreen issues fixed with a simple touchscreen update.

for sure Acer will monitor the situation.

I believe its a diferente issue than the one op explained. The double characters happens if we type very fast with two fingers. Its fixed with glove operation on. So this makes me think its a firmware issue. As for the op did u look at your screen setings? If u have glove operation on turn it off. It makes the sensor work without toutching the screen, so the sensitive problem u are experiencing might come from that option.

That is very beautiful, since when do we have this glove operation option? I think it was that...

I seem to have a similar problem. Touch screen is not working properly any more and my phone is only 5 months in use Smiley Sad

Almost the same problem here. My touchscreen is working fine... almost all of it.

The 'back-home-right' button don't work anymore. Used the E700 for 5 or 6 weeks now.

Hopefully this is also to be fixed with an update of the touchscreen software.

But still, where do i update this software? and how??

This is how it started with mine too ... Then I made a complete reset und had to log back in. I could enter my PIN but could not confirm it because at this spot the touch screen did not accept the touch. As I bought it at Amazon directly, I could return it even after 5 months and was given the complete money back.

I now bought a Sony Xperia at Aldi which is working much faster and is lower in price also. I can only use one SIM card though which is too bad. But it is much nicer than the ACER.
