acer monitor v193hql blacks out after running for 2-3 hrs.

Hi,

After 2-3 hrs of starting pc, my monitor ges blacked out. Initially for 2 sec n then it becomes normal for 4-5 min. But gradually, the black-out time increases and time between 2 such black out decreases. and finally it becomes black untill i switch it off for few hrs.I am attaching pics related to it. kindly guide me to solve this problem..

    Your PC VGA and cable connection to the monitor, are ok?

     

    if so, it's a monitor hardware failure.

    ya, VGA and cable connection to the monitor are ok.. Is this monitor worth repairing? or I should buy a new 1? coz i dont want to spend on repairs if the chances of gettin ok after repairs are very less or if it would cost as much as buyin a new 1..

    Hi Taralmehta15,

    As you confirmed that the VGA on the unit nworks fine, & if the monitor is under warranty you can send the monitor for a warranty service,. which will cost less than a new one,.

    If under warranty, contact the Acer support service.

    if out of warranty, go buy a new one, no worth to repair.
