For example I press "a" but it comes out as "aa". Does anyone have a similar problem?

Same issue here. Glad more people is having the issue so that way means its a software issue and not hardware.

I agree with you, and I'm curious about other users, if they are experiencing the same. I found it's something not happening all the time.

Yes, but unfortunately it happens a lot. Even tried to swtich keyboard from swiftkey to stock google but the issue persists.

Glove operation fixes the issue but i wonder the battery drain with the sensor working all the time. Well its a temporary fix, hope acer sees it and can fix it now since u found a temporary solution with that option. Probably a bug with touch driver or something like that.

Thanks for the suggestion. Hope it doesn't affect the battery that much.

So far, no updates from me. Sometimes I have success for a while with glove operation off. A question, for the people with that problem, are you on screen protector?

Yes, but i also had the issue without it. True, sometimes it works for a brief moment. Probably driver and most people must be swyping with their finger and dont notice this. We had an update early this month so lets just wait and maybe more fixes will come(ex:battery reading bug)

The problem is fixed. Yesterday evening I got an update (Acer_AV0k0_E39_1.0022_EMEA_GEN1) and today I have send some messages an I tapped mutch in browser. No more double letters.

And I have seen some improvements with my wifi signal also.

Just had the phone last week.  I'm also experiencing the same problem with the keyboard, hope the next set of updates get to adress this issue.

The latest update hasn't fixed the keyboard issue. Neither did it fix the battery usage bug where it can't measure app battery usage.
