Hi,

I have an acer ferrari 1200 notebook , iv had it for a few years now and yesterday i accidently stepped on my laptop forgetting it was on my floor, then when i went to turn it on the power button will light up as usual however the fans will start  up but then cuts off 3 seconds in and then it restarts and does the same continously. It doesn't actually turn on nor does the screen light up. I was just wondering if there is anyway i can try and fix it at home without having to get someone else too do it for a ridicolous price. That if it is even worth fixing? or if there is a way of fixing it?

Thank you so much.

Open the back of your notebook and check if ram sticks are well plugged.

    Hi,

I tried it and still didn't work. Iv stripped my laptop down to just the circuit board and still nothing wven removing a thin bit of plastic from the fan blades itself. However before all this the fan won't even make a sound now. It kind of makes a little whirring then just cuts off, before repeating itself even when the top is down. Plus there is no light on the screen nor on the laptop (where the caps lock lights are) so i think it will have to get thrown away.

Thank you so much for your help (:
