    • after removing the CMOS it still wants password

    Hey everyone I am still unsuccessful to reset the bios. I removed the cmos battery, and left it out for 5 min, and that didn't reset the bios password. I still wants a password when pressing f2. What else can I do???

      Acer can remove the BIOS password at our repair facility. I recommend you contact the Acer service center in your region for assistance removing a BIOS password.

      The charge to remove a BIOS or HDD password at our US repair depot is $99.
