Check cable connection no bootable device insert boot disk

I have an Aspire 5733Z laptop which occasionally gives me the above message. When it does, I leave it alone for 3 or 4 days and when I turn it back on, it works again. I have already gone once to a technician, but when I got there, my laptop was working fine. I have noticed that if I demand to work with Mozilla Firefox or some complex video sites, it crashes How do I go about getting a boot disk? or fixing the problem?

    hi...

This could be an internal hardware issue, this message is usually displayed when the hard disk is not detected by BIOS.
When HDD is not detected the system does not find a device to boot and promts to insert boot disc.

If the computer is in warranty it is better to sedn it in to get the issue resolved.

Welcome aboard Mar2. You might have a loose or corroded monitor cable. You might have corrupted software that is making it difficult for your machine to access the hard drive. And you might have both.

I would upgrade my anti-virus and run a deep scan.

Concerning your sudden crashes, the easiest thing to do is check for overheating. Hold your finger over the exit vent to make sure your fan is working. I advise you to download the free Core Temp program, which will help you keep an eye on your temperature.

Unfortunately, there are several possible causes, but these two solutions are easy to perform.
