TravelMate P645 - Do I have NFC?

I have a TravelMate P645 (the full HD model with i7 processor, SSD and Radeon graphics).  I am trying to explore the NFC capabilities of the machine since I have an NFC-enabled phone, but I cannot seem to find where to enable NFC on this notebook.  Frankly, I'm not even sure I have NFC, although as the newest and best TravelMate, I initially assumed it was installed.  Is there a way to figure this out definitively?

    Thanks kidziti,

I got your private message. Unfortunately, your unit does not have an NFC chip installed.

Your unit, NX.V8SAA.002 (the first 10 digits of your SN), represent the model of your PC; TMP645-MG-9419 in this case.

We have 2 specific models that do have NFC chips installed:

    NX.V93AA.005 TMP645-MG-5409

    NX.V93AA.006 TMP645-MG-7653

    Hope this helps,
    Cory

    Hi kidziti,

Could you private message me your serial number? That will tell us more about your specific model. I do see that we have some TMP645 that have support for NFC.

    Thanks,
    Cory

For some reason after multiple attempts to PM you back in July and once again trying now in late September, I am coming back to this thread.  Every time I try to PM you, I get an error saying that I have an invalid HTML code in ther body of my message and it will not get sent.  Despite trying to make it as plain vanilla as possible, the message to you will simply never send.  Is there an email address to whichj I can converse further with the information you request?

I've had your ability to PM upgraded, Please try again.

Thank you - seems not a big deal, since the bluetooth works fine anyways plus my NFC-enabled phone is on the LAN I set up at the house.  But I was curious.

    Thanks again.
