New Insignia A3-A10 can't open downloaded user manual?

Hi, I just got a new Acer Insignia A3-A10 android tablet. I've registered it and gone to the Acer support site and downloaded the user manual, but when I try to open the manual, I get the message "The file formats is not supported". Does anyone know what else I have to do in order to be able read it?

The manual downloaded as a .zip file. I have Adobe installed. Not sure what other info to share...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Smiley Happy

You need a zip extraction program in order to extract the manual. There are many apps for this, just do a quick search in the play store.

Thanks billsey...So I must be a total *****, because I still can't get it to work.

I downloaded ES File Explorer, which is supposed to be able to decompress zip files.  But I can't figure out HOW to get ES File Explorer to actually unzip the file.

Here's what I am doing to try to unzip/extract the manual:

    1. In ES File Explorer, I open the Download folder.  It displays one subfolder and 4 files:

      Subfolder named USB_Acer_1.0_AV052_A

      Files named

      - setup.exe

      - SystemInformationSetup.msi

      - SystemInformationSetup-1.msi

      - USB_Acer_1.0_AV052_A.zip

(NOTE: this is after I tried to unzip/extract a couple of times, so I suspect the subfolder and the "SystemInformationSetup" files were created during my attempts to unzip.)

At this point I don't see an "extract" option, so I go to step 2.

    2. I select the - USB_Acer_1.0_AV052_A.zip file.  The window changes to display 3 files:

      - setup.exe

      - setup.iss

      - setup.xlm

At the bottom of the screen is an "extract" button.

    3. I tap the "extract" button.  The screen asks me where to extract the selected files to. It gives me the option of "current path", "choose path" or "  Subfolder named USB_Acer_1.0_AV052_A".   I select the Subfolder and tap OK.

    4. The screen clocks for a moment, says it is extracting files, then returns looking exactly the same as in step 2.  When I back out one more screen, I see the same files I listed in step 1.   I can't find the unzipped/extracted manual anywhere.

    What am I doing wrong?

(BTW I corrected the thread heading to read "Iconia A3"; I realized I initally wrote "Insignia A3" for some reason.  Maybe I'll blame auto-correct! Smiley Happy

None of those are the manual. Try IronFly's link instead.
