I have mistakenly uninstalled windows 7 starter from my netbook

Hi all

I used a website called makeuseof.com to help me format the hard drive on my netbook ready to sell it. Unfortunately it has also deleted the OS. I have the key for the OS but obviously no disc as the netbook doesn't have a disc drive. I contacted Microsoft who told me that I had to contact the manufacturer of the netbook to get a copy to reinstall. has anyone else had to do this?

Yes I have. If you call 1-800-910-2237, you can talk to a representative there who can help you get the restore disks to your computer.

you can try to do eRecovery by press alt+f10 when you see acer logo screen if recovery partition is not deleted.

You need external optical driver to reinstall the os,Purchase rcd and install the OS including drivers and apps,

it would set the computer back to default settings.
