Unit working fine. No errors in device manager. All drivers up to date and no conflicts. Aspire 5552 notebook with several issues attempting to connect to TV for Netflix viewing via internet searches and reports. Unit used to work so I suspected I had to manually enable HDMI interface. Using Google chrome and silverlight to view Netflix on laptop. Just cannot get HDMI interface working.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Hello jimijams,

    On the LG tv:

Have you tried to select manually with the remote control the HDMI input?

Have you tried to activate SimpLink (auto detect input device)?

I have my TV connected to the cable box and presently can view TV via Comcast cablle. I have changed several TV HDMI input options to no avail. Notebook devices does not recognize the LG TV. What bothers me is that auto detect used to work. I'm suspecting possibly a Windows 7 option?
