I found the Service Manual on-line for the H5360 Projector. Acer part number for the Color Wheel Assembly is 70.8ER16GR01.  Where can I purchase one?  Thanks, BiLL.......

If you put that part number in Google, you will find multiple places that sell that part.

Many thanks for your suggestion.  I have searched Google and did not find a source for the Color Wheel.  I than e-mailed the manufacturer, Coretronic, on January 6th and I still awaiting a reply.  Can the part be ordered through Acer?  If so how?

Did you ever find that part for the color wheel you were looking for? My projector just made a nasty crack noise followed by a loud hum and what is sounding like pieces flying apart inside it. I think the color wheel just flew apart.

    Thanks for any help

No.  Acer has been absolutely no help.  I have tried the color wheel manufacturer and several third part parts houses with no luck.

What a load of *****!!! I can't believe it is this hard to find a part for this thing. I took mine apart and got the color wheel out of there (easy) and it has some how just broke apart while it was running. I'm talking to a Hong Kong co. on eBay right now. She wants me to send pictures of the color wheel so they can see if they can find it. For some reason there not having any luck with that part number. I'm about to buy a new H6510BD.

I'll repost on here if I'm able to find the right color wheel somewhere. Please post if your able to find the part. I would really hate to scrap a perfectly good projector over a part that I could replace if I could just get one!

You might want to look on-line for a service manual for your projector.  That is where I found the Acer part number for one I am trying to repair.

I am really disappointed in Acer support for obtaining out-of-warranty parts.  IMHO, they are only interested is selling new product and not supporting their customer's investment.  It also appears that OEM engineering cooling design is probably the cause of the premature color wheel failure.

I wish you luck in finding the Acer part number or with your new projector.

Thanks, and I understand you frustration too. I did find a source for the color wheel. It is an eBay company out of Hong Kong and she put the item up for bid on eBay for me. I sent them in some pictures so they could try and locate the right color wheel for my model and they say they found it. They seem to have a pretty good return policy if it is the wrong one and doesn't work, so I think I'm going to take a shot with it.

I should get my new Acer H6510BD in a few days. I just hated the idea of throwing away a perfectly good projector because of one broken part I can fix myself.

I found that service manual online already and sent it to that eBay co. as a reference with my projector and part number highlighted along with the pictures of the broken color wheel.

Not sure if we can post links on here or not so if you still want to try and replace that part just do a search on eBay for Acer H5360 color wheel it should pop up as that is the only one posted for that model. The seller is hongchuanglamp and they want $89.

    Hope that helps somebody.
