It is rather disappointing that Acer hardly supports the Predator G3620 on their homepage anymore. Many times I have tried searching in support for my specific model but I find so little information. One issue is that I want to know why I cannot upgrade my Windows 8 to 8.1 on Predator G3620. Searching on Acer's homepage provides no answers at all - and that REALLY disappoints me. Why does Acer simply forget their valuable customers? Or is it because they do not look upon us as valuable anymore? Next time I will buy a more expensive Desktop from Lenovo. At least I can expect a better support from there.

    Hi perbuch,

Can you help me understand what expectations aren't being met? While our www.acer.com will quickly switch focus to newer products, we don't want to give off the perception that we aren't here or don't care. We've put a lot of work (and we have a A LOT more to do) into reworking our web pages and our support pages to be accessible and consistent with the necessary information needed for each product such as our FAQs and our Driver and Manuals. We've put many resources on tools such as this community to allow Acer users to have a centralized place to talk about issue that come up and get help with them. I'd like to better understand your feedback on how we can improve this experience for you.

I know how you feel!  I posted in this forum about my daughter's T180 on 7/1/14 and my post has been completely ignored by staff...and everyone else.  I know the computer is older but I still could use some help resolving my issue...and neither the website nor this forum has been of any help.  I have observed the newer models and those running Windows 8 get the support on here.  Apparently my issue is not significant enough to justify support since my computer is older.

Not everybody has the time to visit everyday, and I'm sure if those who visit had the knowledge you ask for they would answer.. I am a Senior MOD on 1 Forum with over 2000 very active members... and it is very easy to miss one or more.
