Small crack in the touch screen causing huge problems with my V5-571p

I know you have all seen similar posts but this might be a little different. Because of the crack it's causing huge phantom touches that will not allow me to navigate and disable the touch screen. My question is there anyway I can get a chance to navigate by using another method. I'm thinking along the lines of using a HDMI cable and trying go from there. I'm not sure if that will disable the touch by going that route. I'm trying to think outside the box on this one.

I'm aware  I can buy a new screen but I just don't have the money. I also don't even know if that will fix it, either.

Cheers!

Don't really know what's your problem. Do you mean you can't get into the system to turn off touch functionality? Or do you ask for generally control if you are in Windows? During boot time you force Windows in Safe Mode by pressing SHIFT + F8 instantly at device start. Hold SHIFT and hammering F8. Alternatively boot from rescue media and enter Safe Mode. You can of course use a mouse to navigate.

The problem is that the phantom clicking from the cracked screen is making it so I cannot navigate my computer. Meaning, I can't turn off the touch settings because my computer will just phantom click all around disrupting any chance I have to fix this. I want to know if there's a way to disable the touch settings without getting into the actual settings menu because that is pretty impossible at this point.

    Thanks

How about connecting another display device to DVI/HDMI output and switch with WindowsKey + P.
