How can we get customer service from Acer Australia?

My husband and I have been battling for over 1 year to get a response from Acer after our Ultrabook malfunctioned during our overseas honeymoon. Each time we enquire we learn that the staff we were dealing with have left. No wonder - it's an appalling company to interact with (as evident by their Facebook page which doesn't even offer private messages or public posts). This has to be the worst customer service we've ever experienced and we are fed up!
