I want to install a SSD to my laptop since the HDD is terribly slow (5400rpm). Since the 772G have 2 bay slot so I want to install a SSD to it.
Can you guys show me how to install without void the warranty?
Cheers!

for the warranty issue someone else will have to answer, for the technical part the procedure would be as follows.

    1. ensure that besides the space for a second drive there is also a SATA connector for it to connect to (sometimes the case is used for different models but the MOBO used does not have the connection).

    2. besides obtaining your SSD you will need to locate and obtain the following A. a drive bracket/caddy to attach the drive. B. screws to attach drive to caddy (standard to most all drives--hardware store).  C. screw to attach caddy to drive bay (should be the same as the other drive--try it in the hole to be sure then hardware store).

    3. migration software (provided with drive?) or partitioning and imaging software (i have used MiniTool Partition Wizard and Macrium Reflect Free).

    4. if using the alternate software the steps are:

      A. you will need to shrink the OS partition so the combined size of the OS and recovery partitions will fit on the SSD (use Partition Wizard--you also might be able to shrink the PQservice recovery partition a couple of GB if you see some free space in it).

     B. using Macrium make image copies of all partitions to an external drive.

     C. since you have a second drive bay install your new drive, restart from the 'recovery' disk you should have burned when you installed Macrium and restore the recovery and OS partitions to the new SSD drive.

     D. reboot to BIOS and change the boot order to the SSD (or swap the drive positions). NOTE: you might have to use Partition Wizard to rebuild the MBR and you might want to remove the old drive temporarily to prevent a conflict of having an OS on both drives.

     E. use Partition Wizard to delete the OS and recovery partitions from the old drive then resize the DATA partition to fill the drive.

--end-- have a a good time.
