Hey there,

i've used acer products my whole life and i needed a new laptop. I never had complaints so why switch to another company right?
Well if this problem can't get fixed i will send back my laptop and switch to another manufacturer.

The problem:
The problem occures when playing the game League of Legends.
From can you run it software it says my laptop is above the recommended specs to play this game. Still it lags.
My brother has a Dell laptop i will state the differences down here:

My laptop:
Acer Aspire v3 772G
processor intel core i7-4702MQ 2.2ghz
Memory 8.00GB
Graphics Processor Nvidia GeForce GT 750M 2048mb
Operating system Windows 8.1

Brother:
Dell Studio 1749
Processor Intel Core i5-520M 2.4 GHz
Memory 4096 MB
Graphics adapter ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 - 1024 MB
Operating system Windows 7

When we play the game together you always get into a loading screen before the game starts. His laptop is 3-5 seconds (varies) faster then mine, also while playing the game I have MASSIVE lag spikes EVEN with the game quality turned all the way down to the lowest.
We play on the same internet and he has NO lag when i do.
So my question is how can it be that he is faster? while this laptop is better, faster and 1 week old. While his is 3-4 maybe even 5 years old. Also to clear things up here is my internet connection:

I hope anyone can help me with this so i do not have to return my product.

Greetings

so you must watch to memory or the graphical drivers are not right working

but one thing i must now is that has you brother an industrial one or not industrial version

so acer has also the ferrari version and the industrial version  so cost a lot but is faster and beter components(so hp,acer,dell,...)has two versions

so you must type resmon and enter then you can watch what you computer doing

so windows is always trouble not like  linux

i am not sure if he has an idustrail version or not but the components shown in my topic are directly taken from his laptop using dxdiag in the cmd run.

Also i will try to update the memory and the graphical drivers from my laptop, thnx for the information and i will let you know if it did any good or not,

Simply make sure that your games run with the Nvidia GPU. In your notebook are two GPUs, one of them is the integrated Intel GPU, the other is the Nvidia GPU. Go to Nvidia settings and chose what game should run with what GPU. You don't have to worry about memory watching.... *g*

i did that, assigned it to open the game with the Nvidia card. Its still the same.

I even right clicked on open with powerfull nvidia gpu and it still has the same problem.

Its odd because system requirements lab´s Can You Run It says this laptop is above the recommended settings for league of legends to play on high details, and i can´t even play without lag on medium or lower details.
