"Push Button" partition clone

Folks,

I've just got a V3-772G, and i've replaced the internal 1TB HDD with a 500GB SSD, and put another 500GB SSD into the other internal drive bay.

Does anyone know how to copy or clone the 17GB "push button" partition from the 1TB drive it came with to one of my 500GB drives?

I've tried Minitool partition wizard to copy the partition, but the system doesn't appear to recognize that it's there.

Many thanks

I use macrium reflect to create a recovery cd(WinPE) and back up the whole OS on an external HDD, replace the HDD with formated SSD, recover using recovery cd and restore the OS from the backup. HTH.

I use a Winpe bootable flashstick with Arconis true image installed.  Works a treat.

since you are moving from a 1TB hard drive to 2-500GB drives you might have to resize the partitions first (you can use MiniTool for this)so they will fit (Macrium will not recover a partition to a smaller location), put the OS and all the <recovery> hidden partitions on the primary SSD and any DATA partitions on the other drive (or you could keep the 1TB drive as a DATA drive {using Mini Tool delete the OS and recovery partitions then resize the rest to fill the space}, you might be glad later for the extra space).

Any idea if the V3-772G supports a 1TB mSata? The 128GB that it comes with is now feeling very small and I'd like to replace it.

I asked Acer support and their response was that if I replace or reconfigure any of the hardware or software then if may breach my warranty.

Sheesh. Useless response really as it didn't answer my question at all.
