I have an acer aspire one ao531h. In the boot priority order, it has the following options:
USB CDROM, USB HDD, IDE0, Network boot, IDE1, USB FDD. For whitch bootable media is each of them? (USB CDROM is for dvds and cds)

IDE0 is set to boot from internal hard disk,
IDE1 is set to boot from secondary internal hard disk,
Network boot is set to boot from network server.
USB CDROM is used when you connect external CD drive.
USB HDD is for external HDD or flash stick
USB FDD is set to boot from external USB floppy drive

    Hello GeorgeO,

USB CDROM --> External CD/DVD drive connected to USB port

USB HDD --> External Hard Disk Drive connected to USB port (or USB Flash Drive with letter assigned C)

IDEO --> Your internal  Hard Disk Drive

IDE1 --> Second Hard Disk Drive (option)

USB FDD --> External Floppy Disk Driver connected to USB port (or USB Flash Drive with the letter assigned A)

Network boot --> it connects through the lan controller to boot

If I have an internal hard disk on IDE0, can I have a second internal on IDE1?

from the options available your MOBO apparently has an IDE1 channel. the next thing to check is if case has space in the drive bay for a second HDD and there is a SATA connector in the bay to the MOBO. if you  have both of these then yes cou could install a second drive (HDD/SSD) in this slot.
