Sound problems on Acer W511

I have a very strange problem with sound. I have installed clean Windows 8.1 (from MSDN) and latest BIOS and drivers from Acer's drivers page. Also, all updates for Windows are installed too, and there are no any additional programs. But when I turn on the tablet, audio don't work. It will work if I plug in a headphones or after the tablet wakes from sleep (so the hardware works good). I have tried to turn off hardware acceleration for sound, but the problem still remains. Could you help me?

What does device manager show you? Anything with an !, ? or x over it?

No, there are no warnings in device manager. Only Intel SST Audio Device (WDM) and Realtek I2C Codec in audio devices. Here is a screenshot:

That's weird... is there a chance the sound is coming up muted? There has got to be something different in the environment when you power up that changes when you plug in the headphones.

Maybe. It seems that something goes wrong during boot, but after the tablet goes to sleep and then awakes, the problem becomes fixed. Are there Acer's technicians on this forum? Or anybody else can help me?

There are a number of Acer people who hang out here, but I don't think any of the regular crowd are technicians...
