Predator G3-605 memory upgrade

in 2014 Archives

I ran BeLarc Advisor and know that there is an empth Dimm slot. I have 12 GB of memory, 3ea, 4GB Dimms: Question is can I add a 4th 4GB DDR3 Dimm to the system?

    You can check with Corsair Memory Finder.

    For example (8 models):

    Acer Predator AG3-605-UR21 - Maximum Memory: 32Gb

    Acer Predator AG3-605-UR39 - Maximum Memory: 32Gb

    I looked up the AG3-605-UR36, which is what I have but Corsair seems to have somewhat questionable information as they only call out two memory slots and I've never seen either a 6GB or 12GB Dimm so I must, as Berlarc Advisor says, have 3, 4GB Dimms to make up the 12 GB's of memory that I have. That being said, 32GB's of max memory makes sense.
