Acer Iconia B1-710

My tablet is stuck on the Acer explore beyond limits screen. I have tried to turn it off and even tried a reset but nothing. When I turned it off last night I closed everything down it turned off okay. Can anyone help me please?

    I definitely know that this could be frustrating. I can understand how you feel.
     
    I suggest you to perfrom harwdare reset using the reset pin hole.
     
    Insert a suitable tool into hardware reset pin hole , such as a paperclip, to reset the tablet to its default settings.
    The hardware reset pin hole is located near the power button.
     
     
    If you have already performed the above steps, you may try the below mentioned steps :
     
    The following steps will erase all of your personal information, all stored contacts and any programs you have installed on your tablet.
    Power off the tablet.
    Press and hold the Volume up button, which is located closest to the touch screen lock switch.
    With the Volume up button held, press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds then release it. Continue holding the Volume up button.
    Once the tablet screen turns on, release the Volume up button.
    On the Select Boot Mode screen, select [SD Image Update Mode]. Use the Volume up and Volume down keys to navigate through the menus and use the Power button to select the desired option.
    On the Android system recovery screen, select wipe data/factory reset.
    When prompted to Confirm wipe of all user data, select Yes -- delete all user data.
    On the Android system recovery screen, select reboot system now. Your data will be erased.
    Your tablet will reboot and go to the Welcome screen. Follow the onscreen steps to setup your tablet.

    When you say reset, I guess you mean a soft reset by inserting a pin in to the reset hole ? You could also try an extra long press on the power button for 20/30 seconds, sometimes this brings an unruly tablet to heel. If all else fails you are only left with a hard reset which, if it works will wipe all your data and files, returning the device to it's condition when new.

    Thankyou, for your help I have just tried your suggestion but while it turns the tablet off when I turn it back on it is still stuck on the same screen. Very frustrated as I'm bed bound disabled and this tablet is my windows to the world

    Sorry not to be able to help more, your only option would be a hard reset and, if it does work which it may not, you would lose all the data on your device. Depending on the age of your device you could return to Acer for a warranty repair.
