Aspire erecovery management problem

I had a problem with my aspire one. It totally did nothing after pushing the power button. After getting it on the eRecovery management software with pushing alt + f10 it gave me the option of setting the system back to default.

As I understand, Windows 7 starter oem is hidden on a special partition which is used as there is no build in cd player.

After a while the program asks for the cd....duhhh? Is there anyone who has had this challenge as well?

Many thanks

While it (revovery image) is on a hidden partition, it's used for making a DVD (or USB drive for units with no DVD drive) for recovering windows.  It's NOT meant for restoring directly from that partition.  There's an application that comes on new computers for doing this.
