    • Installing Windows 7 Ultimate X32 on brand new Aspire One D270

    Hallo, 

     

    i just got a new netbook for school,surfing etc.. but i REALLY hate Windows 7 starter. 

    so i have a Windows 7 Ultimate X64/32 CD, i want to install that os en wipe starter, 

    i leave the recovery partitons alone.

    So my question is, will i lose my warranty on my netbook if i install Windows 7 Ultimate?

     

    BTW. i already made a backup from my laptop.

      i wouldn't of thought it would effect your warranty as they don't cover software issues under warranty (if it ever goes back to acer, they would wipe it).

      Upgrading to wouldn't affect your warranty.  However, you would need a new valid key for Windows Ultimate.
