Hi,

I'm the happy owner of a R7-572, which has a Windows button below its screen. I'd like to disable the vibration it makes when I press it. Any idea how to do it?

Happy new year to all!

2 notes:

- I have already disabled the vibrations made when using the touchscreen, but this has no effect on the vib when pressing the windows button

- I'm speaking of the Windows touch-button below the screen, not the Windows key on the keyboard.

There is no way to disable the vibration of the Windows key on the lower portion of the display.

It is designed similar to the feedback vibration on a smartphone.

It will vibrate even when pressed outside of UEFI and not in an operating system.

Arg, too bad. That's a missed point from Acer. On several tablets, there is a setting to disable it (and there are many posts on the net to ask how to do this). Maybe for the next version of the acer R7...

An option to completley disable the button would be great as it makes using the laptop as a tablet next to impossible.  I'd even be happy to get in there and unhook a cable if that's what it took.
