Wireless Card on an Aspire 9300

Since upgrading to Windows 8.1 Pro I have lost access to y wireless network, hence to the internet, e-mail and printer.   Apparently I need to install an updated driver but since I cannot get on the internet Ican't do that.  I downloaded the driver setup to a removable disc and tried to run it.  As it turn out the driver is not on the disc.  The set up program  identidies the required driver and downloads it.

Can anyone tell me how to get a driver installed on the 9300?

Thank you

If the Driver isn't running of a disk try using external memory such as a memory stick or an external hardrive?

Lugman,  That is what I tried.  I downlosded driver set up to a usb drive and ran it on the laptop.  The problem is that the driver itself is not in set up.  Setup scans the computer to determine the needed driver then goes to the Acer website to get the driver.  If I could get to the Acer website I wouldn't need the new driver.
