V3 772G - SSD Upgrade and Warranty

Hello

Does anyone know what the warranty situation is if I add a SSD to my new V3-772G laptop?

Looking at the warranty I'm trying to understand if it is the new item that is NOT covered (obviously) but the rest of the system still is?

Could someone clarify?

Thanks

Peter

I also forgot to add what the view is if you update the BIOS (if required by new SSD)...System still covered under warranty?!

It seems vague as to if anything is covered if you change hardware or nothing...

I don't think updating HDD will invalidate your warranty, customer serviceable parts like HDD or Memory sticks will not affect your warranty, you also don't need to update BIOS as it has nothing to do with switching your HDD.

Thanks, it was the fact I need to open the back to screw it in (I was only going to install a MSATA drive, so not even remove the current hardrive) that always makes you wonder how they would react....
