W700 Delivery Delays/Cancellations

Does anyone know what is going on with these delays and delivery cancellations? Is Acer changing the design of the W700 in response to some of the issues others have faced?

I've had an order with Amazon (US) for a the Core i5/128gb version since the first week of December and still have no information about a shipping date.

Should I continue waiting or just cancel the order? What will the W700 even look like after these large delays?

In norway at least it seems that the model I bought - without a keyboard! Smiley Sad - has been withdrawn. The retailers now list other w700 models instead - this time with the keyboard cover.

Gah! If only I had known. Then I would gladly have waited a couple more weeks before I bought my w700 Smiley Sad

Well, just got a message from Amazon that my tablet is shipping and should arrive in a few days.

We'll see if there are any differences (whether I have the keyboard cover or not)--and hopefully the wi-fi will work!

I'll update as soon as I know more.

Im also curious but i would be inclined to believe any major changes would come announced by acer, unless they would keep it a "secret" to non owners.

Agreed, I think any changes would be behind-the-scenes BIOS, drivers, or wi-fi changes.
