On Monday night, my computer was fine.

On Tuesday, I turned it on and it would not start unless I did a system recovery (which tok two times to work). After that, I noticed it made a beep and a click sound every once i a while, but it worked fine.

Today, Wednesday, I turned it on and it was slow. Programs opened but wouldn't load. It kept maing the beep-with-a-click. Then I got a blue screen talkig about a crash and a a physical dump. It shut off before I could do anything, just to restart with the "safe mode" choice screen. It took a long time to turn on, black screen loading al sorts of /system32/ things I have ever seen before. When it started up again it was not in safe mode. I am currently running a scan, even though I suspect the hard drive. Any help?

Yeah, sounds like HDD crashing esp with the click sound. Is the scan still running? What scan utility are you using?
