A500 motherboard - Wifi question?

Hey,

I would like to know if by replacing my a500 motherboard I will also be forced to replace my network card.

The reason I ask is that my tablet's MAC address is on a whitelist in my workplace, and if the Wi-Fi card comes on the board and cannot be removed then I will also need to ask the IT people in the company to update the MAC address on their list.

    According to this:

It seems like the Wi-Fi antena can be dettached from the motherboard.

    Can someone please confirm?

From that post it looks like the WiFi module itself is soldered to the motherboard, only the antenna detaches. That means the MAC adress of the WiFi will change if they change the motherboard. Time to pick up some doughnuts to sweet talk those IT guys. Man Happy
