Service refuses to repair under warranty tablet. Where can I go for help? I live in Lithuania

23.04.2013 acquired tablet Acer W510. Proof of purchase available.I was very pleased. Good tablet computer . However, when you try to tilt the tablet ( the screen to move in the direction of the keyboard) , cracked glass screen on the smaller piece on the entire screen. No special effort or pressure on the tablet is not provided . As always wanted to move the tablet that would be more visible screen .I think that this is no fault of mine , but there is a fault of the manufacturer . Because design is not thought closing plate. Occurs when closing pressure on the screen causing glass breaks . Unfortunately it is impossible to attach a photo of the problem. Advised to go to the factory.If the glass is changed, there is no guarantee that the glass will not crack again because of the design features of the tablet.Waiting for your suggestions for solving the problem.Buy tablet in Lithuania in Vilnius .     I apologize for the frustration of dealing with this cracked screen issue. Unfortunately, the video shows that the machine is working as designed and that does not mean it's the reason the screen cracked. Could it have facilitated a smaller issue with the screen being damaged? Sure, but at that point it would be beyond the support the warranty can provide. We can only suggest that you continue to communicate with your local support team if you feel that your issue has not been fully addressed.

    Hello.

    On 2013.04.23 bought ACER W510 in Vilnius (Lithuania). I have all documents about my purchase.

    Tablets ID is SNID ****

    On 2014.02 13 the monitor glass cracked. I haven`t done anything to cause this accident

    I believe that the cause of this accident is a bad tablet construction. The video very well shows why the glass cracked. When closing the tablet, the dock creates pressure on the main body and body`s deformation causes pressure on glass and eventually it resulted in a breakage.     The warranty service declined to fix the problem because there is a mechanical damage. However, they are ready to fix this if they will receive an order from Acer Company. 

    I beg you to give them this order. I live in Klaipeda (Lithuania).

    I always close screens with both hands, so many people close screens with one hand and cause problems by flexing the unit at odd angles.

     

    I have a W3-510, it is the best windows tablet ever.  The screen in the youtube video looks like it has been run over by a car.
