I recently purchased a new PC, complete with a 27 inch screen. After purchase I upgraded to Windows 8.1. However, after this upgrade the screen image does not fill the screen size. I can see in the Driver details that the maximum size is 1920, which is wrong. This screen needs more, and handled it nicely prior to the Upgrade (downgrade LOL). I am using the HDMI cable. I can see there is a default Windows driver installed for this, and is obviously not doing its job. Does any one know how to get around this?
  • The Acer V275HL 27" LED Monitor has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080. It is not possible for it to go any higher.

Ok... thank you... but then how do I get the screen image to fill the physical screen size?
  • I would suggest you try the 'driver' for the V275HL from the Acer Download site:

    http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers

Do not be concerned that Win8 is not in the list. Select any available OS - all the files are identical and are not OS dependent.
