Time date keep resetting. Bios, motherboard, or CMOS?

I have an Acer Aspire One AO756.  One day my battery stopped charging.  My laptop was still under warranty so I took it in for service, they said the motherbaord was fried.  They replaced it and battery began to charge like normal.  That day I left for rural villiage in India far from the service center only to discover that now my date and time always reset.  I am getting no error messsages, but date and time keep resettting to January 2011.

Im not sure if maybe they forgot to put in the CMOS battery when they replaced the motherboard (im not sure how to find it...opened her up and gave a quick look but didnt see it), or if they didnt set the bios correctly....

Any help on this would be much appreciated!

Thank you kindly
