Hi, I have Revo RL70 Windows 7 version. I was using Live USB Ubuntu and due to power loss the machine turn off. After I have tried to boot id would go to "black screen" with a blinking curser in the left top conner. I have tried to power cycle it a few times (holding power button for 10-15 sec), unplugging and plugging back, and Crtl-Alt-Del. Non of them helped. Any idea? Also is there a anyway hardware way to reset CMOS of the bios?

    Hello pmitja,

    -- OFF VOLTAGE --

To clear CMOS, place this jumper on pins 2-3. The pin 1 is on right.

Don't forget to replace it on pins 1-2 (Normal position).

Note: If you haven't a ESD equipment, be careful to static electricity.

       Support memory type: DDR3 SO-DIMM

       Support memory interface: DDR3 1066/1333MHz

    2- Slot 1: 1GB~2GB

        Slot 2: 1GB~2GB

        Maximum system memory supported: 4GB

        (look P16)

    3- I'll reply you later

Give me the exact model of your desktop to comfirm the max of memory.

I saw on the Acer website two models: PT.SJ4E2.010=2GB and DT.SJ4EF.002=4GB.
