Acer aspire 5336 mSATA compatible

anyone know if the aspire 5336 is suitable for an msata ssd?

    Even if it is, I would advise you not to. You have a well-built, low-budget laptop that does everything well except high-end tasks. Just operating that SSD will strain its resources. You're likely to have driver problems because the laptop is not designed to run an SSD. And that assumes that it will run at all.

     

    There are cases of people successfully installing high-end hardware in low-end laptops, but most people who try regret it.

    The Aspire 5336 is a cheapie laptop, without pretences, I agree.

    I put in 4 GB of memory, and an Intel 128 GB SSD.

    Works like a charm..
