Acer R7-572G stylus 'hover lag' issue, disable Windows button

I found an issue with my 572G and the included Acer stylus. There is a 'hover lag' where the cursor does not move when the stylus is moved slightly. I've made a video of the behaviour below:

Now, my main problem is that the recent Sony tablets are also using the same N-trig digitisers. I went back to a Sony store and did not find this hover issue with the Sony machines on display.

I was assuming that performance would be the same, but I guessed I assumed wrongly. Now, this is a great machine with a great form factor, and I would like to know where the problem lies, and whether there's a solution for it.

On a slightly different note, I use the stylus extensively for my work. I have disabled touch entirely because I am still getting errant touches from my palm. I would also like to know how I can disable the Windows button on the bezel.

    Just to add on:

I'm not talking about a lagging issue, but it's more of a tracking issue.

Let's compare it to another device, the mouse.

Some users are fine with a 10-dollar mouse. Some needs a gaming mouse that costs many times more, because of its improved precision for gaming, etc etc. Regardless, the tracking technology has improved to the point where tracking precision is good even with a 10-dollar mouse. Even a basic mouse can go 800dpi and more.

The active digitiser is like a built-in mouse. The bad news is that if the tracking precision / resolution is not there, I cannot change it for a higher precision device.

I've demonstrated a simple example, where one needs tracking precision (down to pixel level) to widen a spreadsheet cell column. And now I find this problem in Sony's products (Sony Tap) as well, so it's not just an issue with the R7.
