The system was designed for the WiFi card to be in that slot.

I'm not sure that any SSD is supported in that location.

i'm buy acer aspire 6930g laptop, and the only error: power on the laptop, enter the bios, all ok, ( up to 10 minutes ), boot the os, maybe 5 seconds, and black screen - not response,no picture. Maybe VGA card (nvidia9600gt) or north bridge problem?

    Thx

How are you updating the nvidia firmware?

Download the firmware (NVIDIA.9600MGT.1024.081009.rom) from http://www.techpowerup.com, and the nvflash 5.136, and updating the firmware, all ok,restart the computer, all ok, boot from cd-rom....starting install the os, maybe 5 second, blank black screen....no backlight. The same problem.

That sounds a bit intermittant to me ...  It works, then doesn't.

Unfortunately, there's not really much I can tell you to do, other than to contact your local Acer service center.

Sounds like you need to send the system to service.

    Hello Smiley Very Happy

6930g motherboard+ Nvidia geforce 9600gt 1gb = too many bad motherboard, ( Intel chip replacement ,or reball )

    6930g motherboard + ATI Radeon HD 4650  1gb= no problem,very good motherboard.

The problem maybe the too hot vga card?

    Power consumption: Nvidia - 95w , Ati - 55w

    test:

    Thx
