Is anyone with a B1-A71 (or other tablets for that matter) experiencing screen flickering inside Chrome?

The problem only occurs when scrolling pages and when playing YouTube videos inside Chrome.

Thanks

If it's only happening with the Chrome, why not delete the app and download a fresh version, you could save favourites to another browser if you wish.

Thanks. Would prefer a fix rather than a workaround though :-)

Sometimes apps become faulty and the fix is to delete and download fresh.

This is a known bug on Chrome, and the only solution is to:

    1. Navigate to chrome://flags/
    2. Enable Delegated Renderer (AKA Übercompositor)

I avoid using Chrome because the Google developers simply don't bother in fixing bugs. This bug has been around more than 2 months and no one cares to fix it, and it does not apply to Inconia tablets only.

Thanks. Yes I know about the Delegated Renderer work around.

This fixes the flickering when scrolling but results in YouTube videos being blank within Chrome.

Chrome is still the fastest browser for me. I would like to push Google to fix this. :-)

There are topics regarding that bug in the Chromium forums, but the developers look the other way. Just like Acer with the tablet upgrades.

Chrome is still on version 31.0.1650.59 for me.

Maybe the new version will bring a fix? Heres hoping :-)

Just an update on this issue...

Looks like this problem has now been fixed. Probably in Chrome v34 (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=350733).
