Is my W500 hopeless? :( so upsetting..

Hello all, I am new to this forum. Just registered so that hopefully you guys could help me out.

Heres the issue. I opened up my new W500 that I bought off of craigslist to swap out my 32gb SSD to a 128GB SSD. Did a bunch of research beforehand and heard alot that the BIOS needed an update first. So stupid me, I decided to flash the first and oldest bios update I saw and then after that would complete I would flash the most recent update just to get a fresh start. After the BIOS updater started it told me that I was on 1.14. It then went through with the older flash. So it essentially downgraded the bios. After it finished, I can no longer boot the device. It turns on, the lights are on, however there is no acer logo, no bios, no nothing. Please tell me there is an easy way to recover from this. I tried many solutions I found online with no success. Can't get to the bios via key combinations.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Please guys, im desperate. I just forked out $360 for this thing. I need to find a way to reflash the bios to the new one or at least get it to boot to something. Is there a special Dev menu or any anti-brick way to recover this thing?

GOT A SOLUTION, i BOUGHT THE BIOS CHIP OFF EBAY FOR $23 CANADIAN WITH SHIPPING FROM A GERMAN BASED VENDOR. I SNIPPED OFF THE OLD BIOS CHIPOFF THE MOTHERBOARD AND AND SOLDERED IN THE NEW PROGRAMMED BIOS CHIP AND SHE TURNED ON AFTER 10 MINUTES. READ THE STORY WITH MY ENTRIES AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS LINK FORUM http://code.google.com/p/android-x86/issues/detail?can=2&start=0&num=100&q=&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary&groupby=&sort=&id=589 ps TRY THSI BEFORE DOING A BIOS CHIP REPLACEMENT .....SEE TO IT THAT YOUR LCD TO MOTHERBOARD VIDEO CABLE IS SNAPPED IN....TAKE BOTH ENDS OFF AND RE-ATTACH AND TURN ON YOUR TABLET....BLACK SCREENS CAN MEAN A GPU ISSUE OR A RAM ISSUE OR A LCD RIBBON ISSUE.
