Hi,

I have two new tablets that will not go into sleep mode. They shut down fine and the power settings are all set to sleep. It appears the power button is not functioning.

From Control Panel; Power Options when you click on 'Choose what the power buttons do' it shows 'Sleep' under both 'plugged in' and 'on battery'? What happens when you press the power button after a shutdown? If it turns on there the button is working, which means it's a software or configuration issue.

I dont know if the W510 has the same Broadcom networkdevice as the W3?

I have a W3 and I have found that in the advanced properties of the Broadcom networkdevice, there are 3 Wake options, Wake on pattern match, Wake on RSN Rekey, Wake_up Mode.

I found out that if I disable them all, then the whole sleepmode is gone. In the swipe from the right menu, under on/off, there is only shutdown and restart left. Enabling the Wake options again, makes the sleepmode reappear.
