How to lock S3-391 to the desk.

Is there any way that I can lock my S3-391 to the desk? I couldn't find the locking slot. The website that I bought it from said that there is a kensington slot but I really couldn't find it. I really need to lock it to my office desk.

Thanks a lot!

It looks like there might be one next to the headphone/mic jack on the left side.

There is an area on the bottom left of the unit near the headphone port where you can attach a securing device.

The two small holes on the bottom casing of the S3 cannot be a cable tether point. I have a security cable and it doesn't even come close to being the same size to allow mounting the cable. Even if you forced it into the case, the area of the case you are referring to is not reinforced. It is just thin plastic. I would challenge any Acer technician to prove me wrong on that point. I have seen a tear-down of the Acer S3. This photographic evidence proves that area of the case is not reinforced.  In the middle-right of the photo, where the bottom casing meets the back, you can see a small but noticeable half-round cutout of the case that allows room for the the headphone port. That is the area of interest. There is no reinforcement in that area. Just plastic.

The truth is there doesn't appear to be a mounting point for a security cable on the S3 at all. If you do find one, let me know. I'd love to start using it on my S3. Thanks for nothing Acer.

    Good day

According to what I know and what I have seen, this doesnt have any hardware security feature. No kensington lock!
