Have you checked the power options?

Min does the same, with every notifications it turns the screen on for the duration selected in your settings which ends up draining the battery. There doesn't seem to be any settings for notifications, I.e. keeping the display Off during notifications. I would love to hear otherwise of something different.

Hi. Similar effect with my 350, though not connected with notifications. Display turns on every 10 minutes or so. I did not spot this behaviour before I received a recent OS update. Any idea to identify whether an app like Dropbox, or Norton, or Wifi / GPS / SIM connectivity, or ... is causing this ?

Maybe exchanging and comparing OS / device versions points to something; mine is Android 4.0.3 / Kernel 3.0.13 / APN 1.261.

Hi. In my case, the issue was caused when (during an OS / Android update) something happened to the sync with the Google account. This seems to have triggered frequent attempts to restart the sync of browsers / apps etc., which in turn caused the repetitive display wakeups as some of these apps reserved the right to issue wakeups (e.g. Dropbox). As the sync problem was not resolving itself, the wakeup annoyance continued from then on.
Ít might make some sense to check for any sync errors (via Settings => Accounts and Sync) as possible cause. Also look for apps reserving the right to issue wakeups (Settings => Apps => App Info)

Best of luck - Robert S., Germany
