Grafik/Video problems

I have this acer with ssd harddisk and 8 gb ddr3 memory and Intel core i5 procsesore 2,3GHz. then i have an NVIDIA GeForce GT 540m Grafikcard in it. but i think its wired that, when i play far cry3 i cant even play it on lowes grafik without laggin? I will mean it should cud play it without lagging? pls help if you have anny idears

    That looks like an onboard graphics chip, either built into the cpu, or the motherboard. You are not gonna be able to play any decent games with that, especially games like farcry 3, you need to put a good card in the pci slot. But check your power supply for how high a card you can put in.If its a notebook/laptop then nothing you can do. Just won't play games like that.

    Go into your game options (within farcry) and look for something called "anti-aliasing". If it is on (it has several modes, x2, x4, x6 etc) turn it off completely. Then try pushing other settings up such as textures, shadows etc. This assumes the bottleneck is your GPU however. You could just have too many programs/services running at startup, try reducing these also for a general improvement in available RAM and CPU cycles. (Go to search, type "msconfig" go into that and go to "startup" tab), fixes 90 percent of computers people ask me to have a look at, ridiculous.
