Need to completely reinstall drivers or reset monitor X233h 23 inch, settings problems

The monitor is impossible to set up from the buttons on the bottom and with resolutions settings.

I'm running windows 7 64 bit.

The monitor works with other machines, but not with this one even after a system restore.

The message "Auto Config" just won't go away and it keeps setting up the sreen off center...

So I want to "TOTALLY NUKE" anything to do with this monitor and reinstall, unless there is  a solution for this but I doubt it...

Thanks,

Bruno

Some of the older Acer monitors are extremely dependent on that 'auto-config' feature...drives me a bit nuts too, but at least mine goes away. I would say that at this point, any problem solving would have to likely happen within the menu of the monitor - if the basic drier installed by Windows causes the same reaction as any driver provided by Acer, then that kinda narrows it down to that monitor having some unknown problem with Win7.

How 'impossible' is navigating the monitor's menu using its buttons? - can you do it on another machine, dumb it down some, and then try plugging it back into the Win7 machine?
