I downloaded the Driver "Monitor_Acer_1.0_XPx86 Vistax86x64 W7x86x64" I followed the instructions on the Acer Screen on Driver install and the computer would not recognize the Drivers in the the Folder. I manually pointed the Upgrade Driver Program to take "G246HL" file and the computer gave me this is not a Microsoft certified  File. I don't want to destroy my Resgistry. All I have for monitor Driver right now is PnP Generic. I know Acer has to have a monitor Driver.

By the Way I have an Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40Ghz 6MB Cashe LGA1155 with 8 gig ram, Nvidia GT640 2 Gig Graphics card
