I bought the device yesterday, Acer Nitro 5, and today I want to download and download the data, but after a second step, it no longer works, it only lights a blue bulb without the charging sign and it no longer works even by pressing the power button

    Hi فايز,

From your description — Nitro 5 powers on with only the blue light, no charging indicator, and won’t respond to the power button — it’s worth trying an Embedded Controller (EC) reset first. This can clear residual charge and reset the power management firmware.

    EC Reset steps:

    1. Shut the laptop down completely.
    2. Disconnect the AC adapter and any connected peripherals.
    3. If the battery is removable, take it out (skip this if it’s internal).
    4. Press and hold the Power button for 10–15 seconds.
    5. Reconnect the AC adapter (and battery if removed).
    6. Press the Power button once to turn the laptop on.

If it starts normally, let it boot fully, then check charging behavior.

If it still won’t power on:

    • Try a different wall outlet and AC adapter if available.
    • Inspect the adapter LED (if present) to confirm it’s delivering power.
    • If no change, the issue may be hardware‑related — in that case, contact Acer support or your retailer for warranty service.

Let us know the result after the EC reset so we can guide you further.

You can try the battery reset method. Locate the small battery reset pinhole on the bottom of your Acer laptop. Using a paperclip, gently press and hold the pinhole for about 5 to 10 seconds. After that, wait for around 15 minutes, then plug in the charger and try powering on the device. This process helps clear any internal power glitches and may restore normal functionality. Additionally, ensure that the charger is properly connected and firmly seated in the charging port. If the issue persists, try using a different compatible charger to rule out any problems with the power adapter
