I have tried DDU and done the windows reset as well. Installed drivers from Predator site, but none is working. It seems only driver issue but it is not getting resolved with driver update. Any Solution??

I have tried this, installed NIVIDIA Driver version 566.36 after DDU. But unfortunately this is also not working in my laptop. Any Solution??

Nvidia graphics driver updates can sometimes lead to crashes, especially shortly after release. If you're experiencing crashes after updating to the 2025 driver, you're not alone, and there are several troubleshooting steps you can take. Here's a breakdown of potential solutions:-

    1. Roll Back to a Previous Driver:
This is often the first and most effective step.
You can roll back through Device Manager, as described in NVIDIA's instructions.
Look for the "Driver" tab in your GPU's properties, and you should see an option to roll back.
If that doesn't work, try installing an older driver version from Nvidia's website.2. Perform a Clean Driver Installation:
    DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller):
Use DDU in safe mode to completely remove the existing drivers and then install the desired version.
    Clean Install Option (During Installation):
When installing the driver, choose the "Custom (Advanced)" option and select "Perform a clean installation".
    3. Check for Other Potential Issues:
    System Instability:
Ensure your system isn't overheating or experiencing other hardware issues.
    Software Conflicts:
Check for conflicts with other software, especially if you're using mods or other overlays.
    Hardware Acceleration:
Temporarily disable hardware acceleration in Windows and other applications to see if it resolves the issue.
    4. Consider DLSS Settings:
If you're using DLSS, try disabling it to see if it's the cause of the crashes.
Some users have reported issues with specific DLSS versions or settings.

I have the same issue mate. It started this July update together with windows OS update. The Screen randomly turns black and auto restart, whether i'm using NVIDIA Gpu or Intel Display, then after a few minutes, here come the BSOD saying "VIDEO TDR FAILURE" or "nvlddmkm.sys". But as of today, august 9, 2025, my laptop now has new error of BSOD it says "KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED and "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. and when i use the Intel Display, the screen flickers with different colors and sort.

I dont know what causes this, i never experience this before, i thought my laptop was overheating to cause this issue, so i've done a repaste of thermal putty and Thermal paste as well as the Liquid metal, it only lasted a few days, then the black screen issue is back again, so i tried swapping the ram sticks with different ram ports, Nothing. Did a clean install of Windows still nothing, I have 2 SSDs one came with the laptop, one is 1 TB capacity, I tried installing windows again, this time to the 1TB SSD cause my gut says it the SSD that came with the laptop is causing the issue, after installing, and updating all the drivers, NDIVIA display driver, The Issue is still there.

But then, i noticed that, the issue only occurs when i'm using the laptop unplugged from the charger, take note i'm only watching movies or youtube videos. I only plug the charger when i'm gaming. When i'm playing (laptop plugged in) i never encounter any issue of black screen or anything, except if the game really crash.

I guess, for my laptop, the cause of this is the battery, cause it can no longer deliver the required power to the system? What you guys think? FYI, As i am typing this comment i got the laptop plugged in and its doing fine.

I have reset the windows, running youtube, Google on chrome and games on laptop plugged in. Still it is same issue for me. Not sure what's happening.

One more thing I noticed is that I don't have option of windows borderless while selecting the resolution in game launcher. I still think all this is happening due to bad driver but after DDU, Windows reset, installing old driver, installing latest driver as well, nothing is working.

I dont know what causes this, I always checked the Error code of BSOD and addressed it according to the error code, but nothing fixes it, i hope this coming update from windows will fix this.

Try to do a clean install of Win-11 and start again and do the following, as I've got the exact same model laptop the PHN16-71-50JG with the i5-13500HX/RTX4050 but I've upgraded the ram to 64GB at 2x 32GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL40 and I think that this is why my laptop performs allot better than the same laptops with lower ram capacities over all spectrums and especially in gaming. Make sure that all the Win-11 updates are done and to the last OS build: 26100.4770, update the bios to the last 1.18 version and update the NVidia game ready drivers which for my RTX4050 last game ready Win-11 version driver is the 580.88 and when you install all these graphics divers from NVidia, do a Custom installation > Clean installation as that deletes the previous NVidia graphics drivers.

These laptops thrive on operating (especially in gaming) with more than 64GB ram and even 128GB or more ram and also operating with the NVidia gpu ONLY setting in bios and Predator Sense, as that is what my setting are and everything is at default in Predator Sense. Also, do not install any overclocking software or try to reduce cpu voltage or modify anything, keep the laptop at default and how Acer has designed this laptop to operate.

As I've never ever had problems, and in the benchmarking of Unigine_Valley-1.0 I get a benchmark score of 181.7 fps and a score of 8187 at min fps: 38.4 and max fps: 372.6 fps and it runs Future Mark perfectly and GPUz also with great temps all across the spectrum.

I did a clean install of windows too, but the problem is still there, also i upgraded the ram of my laptop to 16gb and added 1TB SSD too. But when i plugged in the charger, it works fine, no black screen or anything. But, when i use the laptop unplugged, within 60 to 50% range of the battery, the problem occurs. It starts on black screen, then got frozen, then finally restarts itself.

Same, I tried installing windows 11 in new SSD, and ran the game with old driver and then latest driver. I ran games on power(plugged) only, but issue is not resolved. Don't know what to do now.
