Recently I purchased Acer laptop (TravelMate TL15-53M) which comes with built-in Microsoft Office license. But in my laptop, MSO is still asking me for activation, and is currently in Trial Mode.
How do I activate MSO.
No key came along with the laptop.

With the Microsoft Office 365 FREE offer you get the first 30 days FREE, than and afterwards you need to subscribe and pay, there is no key, as you need to first fill in the subscription and put your credit card or means of payment into the registration, then you get the first 30 yeas FREE and afterwards, Microsoft starts to charge you whatever you have signed up to. Read the link I've provided, hope this helps and explains it to you.

    Hi satyam_Yog,

Your Acer TravelMate likely came pre-installed with Microsoft 365 (MS365 Personal) — this is a 1-year subscription, not a permanent license. After activation, it’s free for 12 months, but you’ll need to renew or purchase it afterward to continue using all features.

    🧾 Important Notes:

    • Acer does not include a product key — activation is done via your Microsoft account.
    • Some retailers install Office Home & Student 2021, which is a one-time purchase, but you must ask for the product key and check your invoice to confirm.

    🔧 What to do:

    1. Open any Office app (Word, Excel).
    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
    3. If it still shows “Trial,” go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and check if MS365 is listed.
    4. If not, contact Acer support or the retailer to confirm which version was included.

Let me know if you want help checking your license type or switching to a free alternative like LibreOffice.
