Hi @AlexisRD — your Nitro ANV15-51-711U already has 16GB RAM, but you can upgrade it further.

    🧠 Specs:

    • Max RAM: 32GB (2x16GB)
    • Type: DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM
    • Slots: 2 total (check if both are accessible)

⚠️ Make sure to match voltage and speed (4800 MHz) for best compatibility. Crucial and Kingston both offer reliable modules.

Dual-channel tip: If you’re adding another 16GB stick, make sure it matches the existing one in speed (DDR5-4800), voltage, and ideally brand/timing. That’ll ensure dual-channel mode activates automatically — no BIOS changes needed.

🧠 BIOS settings: No need to tweak anything unless you're overclocking (which isn’t supported on most Nitro models). Just plug in the RAM and boot — the system will detect it.

Let me know if you want help picking a specific brand or checking slot layout!

    Hi AlexisRD,

RAM Upgrade Advice for Nitro ANV15-51-711U

You already have 16GB, but if you're upgrading:

    • Crucial CT16G48C40S5 – JEDEC standard, safe choice
    • Kingston Fury Impact KF548S38IB-16 – Plug-and-play, solid timings
    • Corsair Vengeance CMSX16GX5M1A4800C40 – Works, but XMP profile is ignored

Important: Nitro BIOS does not support XMP. Corsair modules will revert to JEDEC defaults (4800 MHz CL40). Mixing JEDEC and XMP RAM can cause boot failure — always match speed, voltage, and timings.

Go to Crucial Ram guide for your ANV15-51, as all the ram is the same for all the variants of this model. Acer recommends up to DDR5-5200MT/s speed so fit the DDR5-5600MT/s CL46 type ram as this ram will run at max 5200MT/s and it will be downclocked to the Acer memory spec for this ANV15-51, so don't be surprized if the ram is running at 5200MT/s speed in task Manager. good luck and hope this helps you out further.
