When I share screen on Google Meet on my Acer Aspire 7 with second monitor, it shows me an option to select which screen I want to present but when I use my new Acer Nitro v16 with the same monitor, it shows only one screen option in which the browser is open, that means, if I want to share the other screen then I need to drag the browser window to the other screen. So I want know how can I make it seamless like my Acer Aspire 7? means I can talk on one screen and share the other at the same time?

Hey @designstrive — great question! The difference you're seeing between your Aspire 7 and Nitro V16 when screen sharing in Google Meet might be due to a few things:

    🧠 Likely Causes

    • Windows Version Difference: If your Aspire 7 is running Windows 11 23H2 and your Nitro V16 is on 24H2, that could explain the behavior. The newer 24H2 build has changed how displays are enumerated, which can affect how apps like Meet detect available screens.
    • User Experience Improvement Program: Acer’s User Experience Improvement Program app can interfere with display and input behavior. It collects usage data in the background and has been known to cause quirks in multi-monitor setups.

    ✅ What You Can Do

    1. Check Windows Version: Go to Settings > System > About on both devices and compare the OS build.
    2. Disable Acer UX Bloatware: On the Nitro V16, search for “User Experience Improvement Program” in your installed apps and uninstall or disable it. It’s not essential and may be causing interference.
    3. Try a Clean Install: If your Nitro was upgraded to 24H2 in-place, consider a clean install — it often resolves display detection issues.
    4. Use Chrome or Edge Canary: These versions handle display APIs better under 24H2.

Let us know what version you’re running and if the UX app is active — we can help fine-tune from there!
