I am trying to live update "Device Enabling Service Driver" using AserSense.
Something goes wrong and I get a message that the update failed. There are no further details :-(
I have restarted the PC and tried again immediately after, but the result is the same.
Is there anything I can do to fix the problem or get closer to the problem.

Hi @greenmanhunter — thanks for sharing. It’s not clear what you’re trying to update, but in general:

🚫 Avoid using AcerSense or third-party tools to update drivers or firmware. These tools often fail silently or install mismatched versions.

Let Windows Update handle all driver updates. It pulls OEM-certified drivers directly from Microsoft’s repository, including chipset, GPU, and system services like the “Device Enabling Service.”

🛠️ If you’re seeing issues with a specific device:

    • Open Device Manager
    • Right-click the device → Update driverSearch automatically
    • Or go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates

📌 If you suspect a deeper issue, let us know the exact model of your desktop and what device isn’t working properly. We can help from there.

Let me know if you want help identifying your system or checking for updates manually.
